KFD Wilkinson was requested to add three floors to an existing 3 storey building in Selbourne Road, Sea Point. Large portions of the existing building had to be retained to save costs on this project.
The concept was to construct new columns, lift shaft and steel beams to transfer the loads to foundations. KFD managed to retain most of the existing slabs.
